Finding a DirectoryEntry from NTAccount

Hi,
I have the Domain\user value and I want to this user in the AD.
Is there a way to do it?
I tried by NTAccount -> Translating to SecurityIdentifier which gives me the
SID, but I couldn't find a way to search AD according to SID.
I will appreciate any ideas/solutions.

Clean uninstallation of MX2003

Despite uninstallation mx2003. I can find the exchange server name (mx2003)
in the regedit.
How can I remove all traces of its past existance?
My removal procedure:
1. Delete all user mailboxes
2. Stop all exchange services
3. Perform Excange Uninstall.
Please advise

How to know exchange 2000 is running at standard or enterprise edition?
And know which service pack has been installed?
I know in exchange 2003, if I can't create the second storage group or
mailbox , that means I am running standard edition!
Any simple way to do? I need to instruct a non technical person ...

Exchange2003 Public Folder Contact Item disappeared

There we have different public folders with Customer and Employee Contacts.
And now my Problem, in the public folders disapear Contact Items without
deleting them.

I have created a mailbox enabled user object in AD. Is there a limit to the
number of SMTP Addresses I can attach to that user object in AD ? Would it
be possible to attach thousands of e-mail addresses to one mailbox this way?
I am not looking for alternative options, I would like to know the answer ...
