Mailboxes not getting created in exchange

I didn’t see an Exchange 2003 forum so if im in the wrong spot pleas let me
know where to go.
When creating users in AD i opt to create a mailbox as well.
When i go to the mailbox store the mailbox does no appear. The exchange
server is the primary AD server so there shouldn’t be a problem with

My company was recently involved in a merger. Prior to the merger we were
in the process of migrating to exchange 2003 from 5.5. I now have the
responsibility of collapsing the new companies 5.5 org into our current
5.5/2003 org.

SBS 2003 Exchange Server Group Address List changes

Hi all. I have a server that needs the global address list changed.
The user accounts used to be setup to show as follows:
company name then user last name @isp.com
Example:
bluecowsmith@isp.com
but now it is a new comapny name:
orangecowsmith@isp.com
How can I change the bluecow to orange cow and keep ev ...

Distribution List Delegation

I am at a loss. I delegated the right to one of my employees to create
[distribution] groups but he is unable to MailEnable them. In Exchange 2003
I delegated him the View Only Admin as suggested but that did not work
either. How do I fully grant a user the ability to Mail Enable Groups?

Is this possible, do I change something in the Configuration context? I
need to make the change at least at the domain level and preferably at the
Enterprise Level, as opposed to going OU by OU. Google's not bringing me
anything on this. Can anyone advise if this is possible?

we have two cluster nodes, one with exchange 2000 and one with exchange
2003. We have moved all users to the 2003 exchange cluster. Today we
uninstalled exchange on the old cluster node, and now when i trye to remove

We have Exchange 2000 SP3 - native mode.
When we create user accounts the email addresses are not being created and
the global address list is not being updated.
We have tried to manually update RUS. Also tried rebuilding RUS.
