Is it possible to run the exmerge from a Exchagne 2003 server and get the
mail from Small Business Serve 2003? If there a way to run the app as a
different user as i run it and it says i do not have the proper permissions.

Hello,
I currently have 2 exchange servers.
Site 1 is primary about 250 acc'ts
Site 2 is the second server about 60 acc'ts.
I currently like this setup as if one goes down I have redundancy for
mail still being qued then delieved when the other box is backup.

Multiple Databases or Storage Groups - Which is better

Hi There,
In order to decrease RPC Latency, I have heard that you can create multiple
databases or strorage groups and then move users over to the required method.
But wondering which is the better solution ? Is there any advantages or
disadvantages of each option ?

Hi, another reader reminded me that I would reply to my checking RUS
settings and replication in general. All of this appears to be working
properly. I ran the Exchange System Analyzer with no issues being raised
also. So back to my original issue. Are their any thought what I can do to

Is their no one who is going to pick up the response to this since I gave
more details to the issue? This problem still exists. I received one

Another great tool for exchange.
Exchange 5.5 had an excellent optimizer built in that would suggest the disk
drives that should be used for the IS and Log files. It also optimized the
memory setting for exchange. This tool is missing from ExChange 2003.

I work for a company that goes through a large number of employees every
year. By law we need to keep their emails for 3 years.
I got the idea to use exmerge to move the terminated employees emails from
their mailbox and dump it into one general "TermEmpl" mailbox. I can do
