Current situation
Exchange 2007 Cluster (no SP1)
6 Storage groups with 1 DB of 300 Gb, all on a seperate LUN
6 LUNâ??s for logfiles of the storage groups (40 Gb)
Storage Group 5 has a problem. Logfiles are growing rapidly with +/- 200 Mb
p/m.
How can we allocate the source of the issue, specificly exam ...

Hi all,
I deleted a user from my exchange 2007 setup and when I tried adding
him again, I have ran into all sorts of issues.
My main problem is as follows:
I can't send him any e-mails from internal mailboxes.
The error is as follows:

Public Folders: Deny Owners ability to change Default & Anonymous

I want the ability to give users Owner permissions to public folders
However, I do not want them to be able to change the permissions for Default
and Anonymous. i.e. I want to lock both default and anonymous to "None"
Any tricks or tools to make this happen? ...

Mail from certain people not getting through

We have a vendor who has been trying to send us email for weeks. We are
running Exchange 2007 and I have all the antispam filters turned on. I did
some digging in the agent logs and found the message he tried to send. Here

Exchange email setup

I created a AD U/C account for a new employee, after creation email setup
failed. That is what an error box came up with. User can log in to the
network, but there are no exchange tabs on the properties account.
Can anyone suggest a remedy other than deleting the account and starting
from scratch?

Or no way, only if he reset my password and then make a new password and
then log on to my comp and read it in Outlook?

I am running 2003 server and 2003 exchange server. Everything is setup and I
am new to this so please forgive my ignorance. What is the default name for
POP3 and SMTP servers on 2003? Is it something like POP3
mail.exchangeservername.com SMTP mail.exchangeservername.com. Or am I
headed down the wrong path?

Exch2007: Posion messages are public folder traffic?

This morning some of our transport servers restarted themselves and put a
couple messages into the Poison Message queue.
Looking at the message, they are both from address:
PublicFolders@MyDomain.com with receipient of PublicFolder2@MyDomain.com
The message sizes are 300-400 KB. I have exported the emails ...

Redirecting email in Exchange 2007?

Mailbox user A has all of his mail sent to him and also forwarded to Mailbox
User B everything works fine. Is it possible to set up Mailbox A so that
email from certain recipients do not forward to Mailbox B?

sharing GALs

Hi,
I have an external forest trust with another domain/exchange organization.
Is there a way to have both organization's GALs appear in Outlook? I am using
Exchange 2003 latest SP Native mode in one organization and Exchange 2003
latest Sp mixed mode in another organization.
