Edge Transport Server

Is it compulsory that the edge server should have two NICs. I have a design
where the hub abd the edge are separated by PIX and security policy that
prevent a server from have a leg in the DMZ and on the LAN. I have install
the edge with only 1 NIC but mail flow fails. I keep getting Connection

Hello Greg,
Seems like mail.ari2000.com does is not allowing your server to relay to
to it . You need to get in touch with the remote admin guys to check if relay
has been disabled or if your domain has been blocked by them.

BES on Exchange

I have a BES server 4.1.0.40 on Exchange 2003 with 12 users. I just added 2
CALs and 2 new users (now 14 users) running Verizon 8830s. I set up the
blackberries and did an OTA activation, the activation completes

I have a new Exchange 2007 SP1 server that has been added to an existing
Exchange 2000 organization. I can connect from Outlook 2003 & 2007 with no

Or Exchange server suddenly stop delivering external email.
We are still able to send email and Internal email is not Effected.
We have chacked that there is not a DNS problem with our Telco and ensured
that the Metadatabase is OK.
We can connect using telnet and we are able to send Hello and Ehlo comm ...

Exchange server 2003 Windows SBS 2003. All internal email works, any email
from outside gets rejected with "5.7.1 Message Rejected." No filtering is
