Installing SSL cert for OWA

I have installed a new Exchange 2003 two node cluster which is working fine,
but whenever I try to install an SSL certificate for OWA and choose the
'require SSL' option it fails the HTTP virtual server resource. Are there
any special hoops to jump through when using SSL in a cluster?
I am also struggling ...

currently we are running 4 node exch cluster with SAN storage and this SAN is
realtime sync with another SAN at DR site. My question is how to setting up a
exchange server (cluster) at DR site and connect to SAN DR.
at the end of the plan, we can bring down production server and up the DR
server or vice v ...

and/or the smtp virtual server hangs until the cluster takes it offline due
