Determine cluster mode Active/Active or Active/Passive??

This is a simple question but I'm new to Exchange 2003 clustering. We
have 2-node Exc 2003 Ent cluster here at my new job. I need to apply
the Daylight Savings patches this weekend and making sure I've got the
process down. What I noticed in Cluster Admin is that I have online

DST and Front End Server Question

Hey everyone,
We are running Windows 2003 sp1 and Exchange 2003 sp2. We have both FE and
BE servers. Anyone know what you have to do for your FE servers to bring
them up to date the the new DST? All the docs I've found just talk about
the BE servers.

node cluster workign within VMware. This purely for testing. I have got a DC
working in a isolated network on vmware and have built two servers to act as
my two node cluster.

For april we have to move to SAN (EMC CX700).
We are doubting between 2 configs:
2 Exchanges Clusters with 2 nodes each
or
1 Exchange Cluster with 4 nodes (2 actifs and 2 passifs).
All connected to a SAN.
Can someone tell me the advantages and disadvantages of each config ?

Is it okay to apply 926666 to a passive cluster node and then failover to
that node or do you need to apply the patch to an active node so that
Exchange is updated?

We are running Exchange 2003 sp1 in a cluster with frontend servers. They
are running on Windows 2003 sp1. For the OWA (Frontend) servers we are
using a custom logon.asp for "Forms Based Authentication" with SSL.
