RPC over http inconsistent outcome

Hi,
I got this bizzar case.
I have been trying to configure rpc over http for a client for days but
without joy. I have checked and double checked the setting on server as well
as on client outlook 2003. All the setting which I did was same as my other
client but this one, I keep getting errors of sayi ...

through OWA; but when he goes to type a new message or reply to an existing
one he doesn't get the message body field; just a red 'x'.

I'm running an Exch 2000 on W2K Advanced Server and emails from certain
external senders can only come in if the sender replies to the email.
