Flat File Backup of Exchange 2003

Hi,
I am trying to do a flat file backup of Exchange 2003 Database.
Here is what I have done:
1) stop exchange services
2) backup the system/boot drive c:\
which contains the exchange installation
3) included the database on drive D:\
i.e D:\ExchSrvr
4) included the logs on drive E:\

Exchange 2003 returning msg with missing CRLF at end?

I use a 3rd party tool to read an Exchange 2003 mailbox and process bounced
msgs.
No issues at all for last year or so.
A few days ago, the tool started failing on a certain msg.
The developer investigated, and found that instead of the normal CRLF.CRLF, it
was missing a CRLF at the end.

I need to give permission to user1 access user2 mailbox, but read-
only.
Have a shell command to do that?
In Microsoft Outlook i can give the especific permission (Read Only)
and the other "MS Outlook" user can view the mailbox, and cannot
delete. But this users cannot open the mailbox in the OWA.

Exchange ActiveSync (EAS): Outlook NOTES?

All the WM devices I have handled (inlcuding 6.1) don't seem to offer
*wireless* Notes Sync.
I'm sure I've read somewhere recently that wireless synchronization of
Outlook NOTES is *still* not available for Windows Mobile (all versions).

heaps of ESEUTIL database engine stopped/started events

Hi,
when backing up exchangeinformation store using backupexec, there are always
heaps of ESE events logged as ESETUIL [a number] database engine stopped or
started. The backup completed successfully though.
Any explanation or fix?

current sessions in smtp

I am seeing mysterious users showing up under the "Current Sessions" for the
default SMTP server on my exchange server. I am positive that my server is
not configured as an open relay and not quite sure what to make of this. Any
ideas?

receiving message size question

I have one user who cannot receive large attachments.
under Message Restrictions her Receiving message size limit is 10240 KB (10
meg)
I am trying to send 5 meg files from gmail and hotmail, and get NDR 5.2.3
