Multiple Primary SMTP Addresses

Has anyone experienced opening up a AD account and looking at the E-Mail
addresses tab and finding MULTIPLE SMTP addresses? What could cause this?
I heard scripts maybe responsible. We're a large enterprise and go through

Mail not being sent - re-start fixed?

Recently I have had a lot of E-mail messages not sent, with the error code
4.4.7.
I have changed all my timeout settings and number of concurrent messages. I
don't think that did anything?
Finally, I just re-started the Exchange 2003 server and all seems to be ok
now.

I'm just about to migrate 60 mailboxes from Exchange 2003 (SBS) to Exchange
2007 Std. Does anyone have any top tips on the best way to do this? Ideally
I don't want to use PST's I guess?

We will be removing the first exchange server from a site following
KB822931. I saw no mention of doing anything to move OWA to the new server.
So is there anything that we need to do to make sure OWA moves to teh new
server as well?
