I have a very strange issue only affecting some users. We have a very
simple, 1 server Exchange 2003 environment. The server has 3 mailbox stores.
When a user in Mailbox Store "A" sends a message to the affected user in
Mailbox Store "B", the affected user in Mailbox Store "B" sees the message in

Automatically Permanently Deleting Undeliverable Messages

We are having an issue where our Exchange 2003 Administrator's mailbox is
filling up with Undeliverable messages... probably like several dozen a
MINUTE. I set up a rule to delete them as they come in, but that doesn't
permanently remove them, and I still have to clean out the Deleted Items
folder by hand. ...

Hello,
I have setup an Exch 2003 front-end server that is also configured to
receive/send internet e.mail on a multi-homed setup.
When I telnet out on port 25 to various mx servers, I can see the SMTP
banner, but for some reason, the queue is building up of mail that's not
being sent out.

Hi All,
Can I use contacts defined in Active Directory within Exchange 2003
Address Lists?
I've created the Address list, and a preview shows the correct contacts.
However out on the Outlook clients, the list is empty.

Exchange ports through firewall?

Hi,
All our servers are on their own subnet, however there will be a firewall
installed between the servers subnet and the LAN users. Can someone list
the UDP/TCP required and whether inbound or outbound to and from the LAN?
I can only think inbound from LAN to the server subnet need to be opened?

Exchange database recovery without log file

We are doing a DR testing, and the requirement is, DR server to be in
production network. Exchange ENT 2003 SP2 & Windows 2003 SP1
Now, we have our DR server ready with different Forest and Exch Server name.
