Shrinking the database

We a have a data under SQL 2005 which has a large log file that's 90% empty.
I'm trying to shrink it by right-clicking the database and selecting Shrink,
as I do with other databases. However, this specific database doesn't

"Access is denied" error when installing SQL Server 2008 on XP

No matter how I log into my work station and with every security
configuration that I've tried, I always get the same error when attempting to
install SQL Server 2008 on XP SP3. It happens at:
SqlEngineDBStartConfigAction_install.configss_cpu32

Migrating SQL Server

Windows Authorization

Hello!
If I for some reason want to disable the feature to use Windows
Authorization to be able to log in to SQL Server 2005 how is this done.
I must admitt that I have no reason at all for doing this now but I just

I uninstalled SQLExpress 2005 (installed through VS 2008), and used
Windows Install cleanup gto make sure everything was gone - although I
notice the SQLServer 2005 config manager is still installed?

Ops DB Install error - Code 2147221164 (class not registered)

When I try to install the MOM database on the SQL, I get the following error.
There might be something to register which I am missing. I tried to
regsvr32 the oledb32.dll but no luck..
Also this error is due to sql and not scom...so am posting in sql section
