Monitor locks and transaction

Hi guys,
I'm using SQL profiler for monitor locks but when I try to identify
transaction text from the transaction id it does not return any row
(cache expired?).
Ho I can monitor and register which transaction cause a lock?

set limit for one year prior

trying to write a query to select occupdate for one year prior to toustartdate
where occupdate < (toustartdate - 365)
where occupdate < (toustartdate - 1 year)
don't work
I'm sure it's a simple solution - can someone help me out.

Can't connect to linked server

I have a default SQL 2005 instance (DTSERVER2) and a named SQL 2005 instance
(DTSERVER2\HOMAX01). I can access either instance remotely via Management
Studio.

I am not a t-sql programmer but I need to change a query that gets data
every day to go back in time to get days that were missed.
The current query is below. How do I change the getdate function to NOT JUST
GO BACKWARD TO A PARTICULAR DAY but get ALL the data from the missed days at
