Hi,
I am trying to connect SQL Server 2000 through Java type 4 Driver, i
am getting following error.
(Server is running on Windows XP Pro SP2 OS.)

How can I ask the DB-server to notify my JDBC-program any time a table is
modified? Trigger?..
Although the server we are currently dealing with is MS SQL, the ideal
solution will be JDBC-generic...

query sometimes blocks

I execute a query (not very complex) using a jdbc connection on a ms sql
2000.
My jdk version is 1.5.
Sometimes, the query 'blocks' just before executing. Using mssql profiler I
see that no query is issued to the db.
Anyone has some idea on what's happening here?
