Cannot connect from Win95/Win98 to SQL Server 2005

Hi,
What are the needed files/settings needed in order to a client computer
under Win95 or 98 can connect to SQL Server 2005 on the serve machine (with
or without SQL Native Client drivers)?
Our [installed] exe runs smoothly on a XP machine but the same exe installed
on the above platform can't connect. ...

Some people use hostname, and some use IP address. I would like to know
