CE 3.5, managed or native?

Friends,
Are the DLLs that comprise SSCE 3.5 managed or native? I had always assumed
native, with the managed classes (System.Data.SqlServerCe.SqlCeEngine, etc)
calling the native entry points appropiately, acting as a wrapper.

Iâ??ve tried to find Microsoftâ??s specifications on the storage capacity of
a SQL 2005 CE database. I am interested in storing only tex. (6 GB) If
anyone knows CE's storage capacity number or you know of some Microsoftâ??s
documentation on this subject, please shoot me a link.

SQL Server CE DB Queries using OLEDB

All I want to do is to send a database query to SQL Server CE 2.0 using the
OLE DB interface. I have already initialized the datasource. Can someone
post a pointer to some sample code that clearly shows how to setup a session
object and then how to send a simple database query to SQLCE2.0?

sqlce 3.5 won't run on asp.net

My app is working on my local system with the vs2008 development server. It's an asp.net app and I added the line:
AppDomain.CurrentDomain.SetData("SQLServerCompactEditionUnderWebHosting", true);
So it works fine on my system. But I can't get it to work on shared hosting. I have uploaded all the sqlc ...

Every time I try and download the 1.7MB SQL Server Compact 3.5 For Windows
Desktop from the MS download site it gets to about 1.2MB and just hangs.
Could somebody at MS please check the file?
