Visio closes opening vdx files

A had a similar post about his previously - Basically if I open visio and
browse to a folder that contains vdx file Visio - closes with out any error!
There is no corruption in these files as there local on the disk - same
issue with network.
Vsd files are ok.

File not Found Error

After opening an Auto CADD drawing in Visio 2003, and saving the file as a
Visio document, I am not able to open the drawing again because of a "File

Visio 2002 closes while opening visio document

Office 2003 Pro -
When you navigate to open a particular visio file Visio will close down - no
error message - just close down.
The same happens when you browse the directory and open via explorer.
No spyware found on the machine - note this is happening to about 10 ...

Having an issue with Visio Viewer 2003.
A machine had the full Visio 2003 Std. client on it and recently uninstalled
it. Then installed the Visio 2003 viewer in its place. The installation goes
fine but when you try to open Visio files, the Internet Explorer opens, but
there is a blank page/empty graphic displ ...

the Visio document, the word file is automatically updated. However, when I
