Copying custom property set from one shape to another

I am working on a project to show equipment in racks. We have a spreadsheet
containing data on all of the equipment. I would like to copy the data for
each piece of equipment into an identical custom property set for each shape.
Is there a way to automate this? I am dealing with about 35 racks and several

Hi, I've downloaded Visio 2007 Pro from MSDN and written the .iso file
to a CDROM.
I have 3 machines here, a mix of XP Home and Pro, all UK English

How do I save a .vsd to avoid plagiarism (i.e. ppt/ pps)

I want to save a .vsd drawing so it can still be opened or printed in the
same manner as a visio drawing, but avoid someone from re-saving a read-only
version and modifying the diagram. I did not find the .jpg/ html extensions
give good print or print layout.
Any advice would be welcomed. ...

how do i set page breaks based on differences between cells?

Basically, choose column B.
if current row value is not equal to previous row value, then insert page
break else go to next record and repeat
I'm fairly sure this will be VBA rather than excel.

Closing multiple-segment shapes

Since my early days of using Visio, I've always had a devil of a time
closing multiple segment shapes. Theoretically, you can close a shape
by dragging the starting point over the ending point, but I find it
very difficult to do, particularly with more complex shapes... it
seems that the points made, but I can't ...

Why can't get text box of milestone to unprotect??

I am using Visio 2000, and I am unable to adjust the size of the text box of
a line milestone.. For example, if i were to type in a normal text box, I can
pull and adjust the box size using the handles, and the text wraps
accordingly. With my line milestones however, everytime I open a file, they
