Exporting different customer shapes in Visio 2003

I want to export custom properties in Visio 2003 from different shapes, to
the same Excel worksheet. Each shape has different quantity of custom
properties or fields, but some of them are common to all the shapes (for
instance brand field, model field), and others fields are just exclusive of

I have visio 2002 and never used it before until my work suggested that I
should create my Data Dashbords in it. My dashboard includes several Dials
that I produce on a monthly basis and basically used to create them myself in
excel by hiding half of a donut Chart!

Is there a way to re-arrange composite states in an UML state chart in Visio
2003 Pro? For example, lets say I have the following composite states: A, B,

SVG file is not rendered in VISIO properly

I have a SVG file thats created by a third party software and when i try to
import it into VISIO, it is giving me a lot of warnings, and finally the
rendered image is not quite the same as the original. Other SVG viewers are
rendering this file correctly. Are there any known compatability issues with

Using to Visio to plot equipment in racks

Apoligies if this has come up before, but I am writing some code for Visio
to place equipment in racks from a database. Database calculates the locpin
x/y based on the U(nit) Size (1.75 inches) of the equipment and the position
of the equipment inside the rack.
