why does publisher sometimes leave phantom lines on my document?

Sometimes when I will be printing a publisher file I will find a line on my
copy that is not seen on the screen, why is this? And what can I do to fix
this? I work at a printing business so we would like a more effective way to
avoid the lines on our customers documents. Otherwise we just go over them

if the images were brought in at lower than 300 then they will stay that way.
better to learn what resolution means and the like.

copy and paste is a troublesom process between applications. everthing becomes converted to windows clipboard format (rgb) AND SUCH.

Coloured text changes to black in pdf

I am also having the problem of coloured text in a text box changing to black
when saving a publisher file as a pdf.
I am running Publisher 2007 and Acrobat 7.0 on Windows XP (5.1.2600) Home

There is no way I have found in about 20 years of this stuff to increase the resolution of an image without screwing up the image. There are softwares that claim they can do this, but the proof they show is usually to an inkjet that doesn't show pixelization very much...not to film, where it shows tremendously well. ...
