Edit/Update Speed in Different Project Versions (Why is 2007 Slower?)

It seems to me that Project 2007 (Professional SP1) runs much slower than
earlier versions. I have a test project with 2400 tasks. When I run the
following code in Project 2002 or 2003, it runs in about .1 seconds. When I
run it in Project 2007, it runs in about 1.15 seconds. I have all automatic

Running macro from windows command prompt

Hi,
I have the requirement of opening the file from command prompt and running a
macro. Is there a way to specify the macro name and passing in the arguments
from command prompt something like
c:\winproj.exe abc.mpp /m="My Macro("arg1")

Can't remove linked project files from Project 2003

Hi
Windows XP SP2
I have a user who can't remove linked (Insert | Project) project files from
Project 2003 (SP2).
They press the delete button and nothing happens. Same happens for other
users that log on to that same PC. No error message. The files are not
read-only.

How do I refer to task IDs when a Unique Id is known?

I am using Visual C#- through VS 2008's inbuilt libraries to access MS
Project. The problem I am facing is that when I am inserting new tasks into
project, the task IDs change and hence the collection that I have, to perform

Access 2007 Runtime Name and Path

I got to include the runtime in my Application Distribution Package. I
downloaded the Access 2007 Runtime but the Installer didn't ask me about the
installation path...so I don't know where is the Runtime File and what's its

ProjDateDiff Summary Explodes - Use Rollup Maximum

When building a custom formula to find working days between two dates, trying
to use the Formula in the Summary calculation explodes. Using the rollup
Maximum works fine.
With this workaround, I am fine, but was wondering if I was doing something
