PowerPoint 2007 (Binary Tags and Hyperlinks on Diagrams)

I am working to migrate a macro enabled PowerPoint presentation from 2003 to
2007. When I save the file as a pptm, I get the following message
Your presentation contains one or more of the following:
- Binary tags
- Hyperlinks on diagrams
These items cannot be saved in the PowerPoint 2007 XLM File Format. ...

If I select plain view when composing a message like this one, this is what
I see (bold text) in the compose window. If I select rich text, the font
is normal. Also, how can I change the font size when viewing anything in MS
Windows XP. On all windows, the font is so small that I can hardly read it.

Back in the good old days, I could make items on an animated slide "dim" when
the next item appeared. I can't find anything like this under animation or
even custom animation, and searching in help for "dim" yields nothing. Does
anyone know if this is still possible? If so, how the heck is it done? ...

insert as an object in multipage pdf file

Is there a way to specify which page you want to insert as an object from a
mulitpage pdf file in PP2007? The needed page is not page 1; however,
inserting the pdf always shows page 1 and doesn't provide any options I could
find to select the page to insert. I realize I can break up the pdf file and
