Trouble Embedding a .wav file to play across slides

Hello all,
I've been having a bit of a problem embedding a .wav file to play across
slides.
Here's what I've tried:
1. I've set the max sound file size to 50,000 KB
2. Inserted the .wav sound file (size 2,771 KB)
It plays just fine here and PowerPoint Options show that it is an embedded
sound file ...

Hi, I have gotten the same error in powerpoint consistently and all the fixes
on support.microsoft.com and online have been unable to fix the problem. I

How do I change the speed of a fade?

I am doing a basic slide show and the fade time between slides is much too
fast, even on the slow setting. I just want the slide to appear more slowly.
I am using a "fade through black" setting, but the pictures just come up too
fast. It's almost jarring, even on the slow setting. HELP!! ...

I am trying to slow down the fade-in of slides in a presentation. I've
selected slow (from the options of slow, medium, fast), but the slide still
appears WAY too fast. I have access to Power Point 2003, as well as 2007.
