REading Data from a Word Table with C# 2008

Does anyone know why when I receive string data from a Word Table cell the
characters "\r" and \a" come with that data? Also, I am not sure what "\a"
is. I am prtetty sure that "\r" is a carrage return but not 100% in this
context!

Hi,
I am trying to convert word documents into HTML.This includes the shapes in
word documents. Word uses vml to draw these shapes.
Now I want to find a way to generate images from these vml code and store it
in a separate folder, since browsers other than IE do not support VML, and IE
doesn't support SVG.
