office 2003 setup error 1911

I'm getting this message on windows vista business (fully up to date) when
installing office 2003 pro.
Error 1911: Setup cannot register type library for file c:\program
files\common files\Microsoft shared\INK\*various dll's*
I can press ignore to continue, but office doesn't work correctly.
UAC is switched ...

Office 2000 PID structure

Is an office 2000 serial number that has "270" as the second group of
digits, a retail copy? (I think the OEM versions have "OEM" here.)
Can we tell from the 270, what version of Office 2000 it is
(Professional/Small Business/etc.)?

How do I get MS Office off my old hard drive?

I got a new computer and installed my old hard drive onto my new computer as
a secondary drive. The old drive had a valid MS Office, how do I run it on
my new computer? I see the files but the msword.exe say it isn't installed.

office, it keeps asking me for a product key, when searching help it tells me
to get the product key off the cd, i dont have a cd and cant find a product

Setup screen disappears

I open Add or Remove Proragms, select Office 2007 and click on Change. The
setup screen opens says to wait and then disappears. Is there anything I can
do short of uninstalling and then reinstalling? ...
