Using SetColumns with a custom property

I want to improve the speed of iterating through Items using the SetColumns
method, but I run into problems when I try to include a custom property in
the column list. I've used this same custom property in restrict filters,
and have double checked that it is a property of the folder as well as the

Speaking of interoperability, is there any good way to save e-mails (Inbox,

Busy Appointment

When I set an appointment as "Busy" it does not show a blue bar next to it.
If I set it as Free or Tentative it shows the correct bar next to the event.
What to do? ...

right click any doc & "Send To" a "Mail Recipient" doesn't get sen

a user I support has this problem on XP Pro, Outlook 2003. "Send To" a "Mail
Recipient" opens a new mail msg, with subject line & doc attached, & after
addressing to whom to send it to, clicking "Send" does nothing, th enew msg

Downloaded Messages NOT removed from Server if Send/Receive Cancel

In both Outlook 2000 and Outlook Express, if you cancel a Send/Receive, any
message that was successfully transferred to Outlook during this Send/Receive
session prior to you canceling the Send/Receive, is immediately removed from
the POP mail server. This is exactly what I'd expect (and what I need).

olAppointmentItem.Organizer when created by publisher on shared calendar

Hello Outlook Developers,
When a user in our office creates an AppointmentItem on a shared calendar
with the "publishing author" privilege for that calendar the Organizer
attribute is set to the owner of the mailbox rather than the user that
created the item.
