outlook 2007 send/receive settings disabled

Recently installed Office Professional 2007 upgrade and have a problem
receiving email. The send/receive settings option is disabled. Can send and
receive email but must do it manually by downloading the headers and then the

I just tried to configure my outlook 2002 using yahoo and almost succeeded
but now I get a message telling me the server rejected my log in. It keeps
asking me for my network password. I used this link to set it up and still no
luck.

After reinstalling Office XP Outlook has missing files?

This error message appears when I try to start Outlook - "Unable to open your
default e-mail servers. Could not open the item. Try again."
Outlook will not start. I have tried reinstalling Office XP several times,
but I have been uable to reslove the error.
Any one know how I can fix it?

Retrieve e-mail from archive.pst

I have outlook 2007 but previously used outlook 2003. When I changed to 2007
I archived all e-mails on an external harddisk. They are stored as
archive.pst.

I like to put outlook ost and pst files on an external drive. it works well,
unless someone tries to access my profile when the drive is not attached. it
locks up outlook even after i reattach the drive. please have a way to allow
outlook to use external drive for ost and pst.

just set up a new email account and after clicking on the "test account
settings" tab I keep getting a box that requests my username and paswword.
The username and password that is displayed in that same box is correct.
