Show total messages in Nav screen but unread in Outlook Today scre

I just 'upgraded' from Outlook 2003 to 2007. I have multiple mailboxes and
they show as subfolders under the Inbox in the Navigation screen to the left.
I have set them to show Total messages (not just Unread). In the Outlook
Today summary window, I also show each Mailbox and want only unread (i.e.
new) mess ...

Do you have any suggestions for the remedy?

MST problem with OutLook

Hello all.
I have been trying to set up a MST file to run and install OutLook 2003 with
a default profile but its not working. I am using the MS utility to build the
MST file.

Outlook redownloading emails

When configuring my outlook 2003, I put in the wrong server type (exchange
instead of POP3) and now I can't even open outlook to fix the problem.

somehow outlook got currupt and won't open. I try reading the installation cd
but it won't read so I can reinstall. when outlook trys to look for the file
needed it can't find it on the computer, ( mapi32.dll )
my cd is working cause it reads all other cd's I insert.

When I start to send an email a name just pops up into the window and inserts
it. The problem is - is that that name is NOT in the contact list and it is
being pulled from somewhere else. I can't find where that "someplace else"
is. There are tons of names that I want to get rid of but don't know how!

I've just uncovered the above problem with XP SP2/OL2007 where if I Ctrl
+right click the outlook system tray icon and run a "test configuration", a
few PC's fail. What is more odd is that all of these PC's fail to
successfully profile outlook at first launch, and instead you have to use the
control pane ...

connecting to exchange

I am using Vista sp1, and outlook 2007.. with exchange 2003.. sp1.
Its showing as disconnected.. when I change to NTLM authentication it
connects successfully.
My Vista firewall is turned off.
Can anyone offer any clues ? ...
