have 2003 PST file need help

Last night my pc failed and I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro on it. I lost
all programs including Office 2003 I had to go back to Office 2002 and I
have a pst file from my outlook 2003 that I would love to import into my
outlook 2002.
Is it possible? I keep getting file is not compatible with this version. ...

Cannot permanently delete emails

I recently upgraded to Office 2007 and am using Outlook. It seems when I
want to read an email, I must mark it for "download". When I do this, EVERY
SINGLE message I permanently deleted (shift+delete) comes back. How to I
permanently delete those messages and still get my new ones? ...
