Deleted Items Gone

Yesterday I noticed that my hundreds of emails in the Deleted Items
were all gone. Furthermore, now, when I delete an item, it doesn't
show up in the Deleted Items folder.
There are no items in the Archive Folders > Deleted Items folder. I

How do I maintain single line spacing in a reply e-mail message?

Whenever I reply to an e-mail message and delete some of the unnecessary
sentences, the paragraph formatting becomes automatic. My Word template is
for single line spacing, and the "auto" setting makes it double spacing. I
