Outlook Buttons All Greyed Out

Recently come up against an issue where all of a sudden a large number of
Outlook Buttons are all greyed out for no apparent reason that I can find.

I am afraid that this is big security breach in Oultook. Without my
permission skype acess all my contacts in Outlook and add to skype contacts.
Then there is no way to remove this contacts from skype. Since my computer,

Import outlook pst file - "file access denied"

Two computers an older XP and a new laptop with Vista 32 bit system both are
running Office 2007. Had to reinstall the OS on Vista machine. Totally
updated and runnin now. I then exported the pst file to a disc on the XP
