Who is the organizer when creating appointment in shared calendar

Outlook 2003 and 2007 does not do the same...
When creating an appointment in a shared calendar using Outlook 2003, the
owne of the calendard will be the organizer.
Using Outlook 2007, the person creating the meeting will be the Organizer.
Is there any sugestion how to change the behaivour of Outlook 2007 ...

Why won't new appointments save in calendar?

My Outlook calendar all of a sudden won't accept new appointments. I can
type them into a timeslot directly but they won't save; can't enter via "new"

I had my computer hard drive reformatted and then the guy reinstalled
Outlook. When I transferred my .pst file and opened Outlook, it had made
extra folders and was â??usingâ? a new Inbox with nothing in it (no address
book, old e-mails, nothing - but e-mail was coming in there so it was the
primary folder ...

I am using Outlook 2007 and the feature you decribed is great indeed.
However, i use outlook calendar mainly for work and mainly on behalf of my
manager, i.e. I need to send his avaialbility by mail on a daily basis and
not mine. I have tried multiple times and I have full permissions for his

Default Meeting Status - Busy vs Tentative

beeping when a meeting cancellation is received

I just got an email from an unhappy someone telling me to skip the loud
beeping on the cancellation notice that I sent. She feels meeting
cancellations three weeks out aren't urgent and don't need the loud beep (she
may be right, there).
