New History Item in Opportunity: add email

Why can't I just go to "New History Item" and select mail message like I can if I'm in a contact...that would write the message, send it and link it.
It seems so basic...I have an opportunity and that New History Item should have everything I could do with that Opportunity (email being a biggie). ...

how to search for info in 'notes' boxes of Contact?

In Outlook 2003 I want to do bulk or mass searches of Notes same as I now
search for names or e-dresses. As I add new contacts I enter their product
category in the notes box at lower right. I want then to be able to go to
FIND, enter, say, WIDGETS, and get display of all manufacturers of WIDGETS. ...

The answer probably is NO. Can I make a totally new report. in BCM The
templates are close but not one give me the info I need. The one that is
closest is the account activity report. It lack one key thing. The ability to
add comments to the fiels.

Windows Search Protocol Host has encountered a problem

I saw a few questions on the above-mentioned subject where others were also
getting this error dialog box, and only saw one suggestion for fixing,
(running Microsoft Outlook as the Administrator) which I did, but it didn't
work. Can anyone offer any other suggestions/fixes? This is really annoying.

Entering a New Business Account

When I open up Contacts in BCM, I see a custom table that I setup. The first
line of the table is empty but says "click here to add a new business
contact". I like this idea as it is a quick way to add and edit contacts.
