Microsoft Onenote

I recieved a toshiba laptop (offlease refurbished) with out back up CDs and
the like. Windows was freshly installed and it came with Onenote. when i try
to use onenote i have to have a CD key which i do not have. any suggestions.
i will be emailing the company i bought the laptop from this evening.

Outlook does, as I recall, store the date/time completed (or at least
marked complete) for task items. So yes, my instinct is that Outlook
may be his best workaround in this scenario.

OneNote shipped before the iPhone - since the iPhone uses a proprietary
OS there wasn't any way Microsoft could have engineered OneNote to sync
to a device that effectively didn't exist yet. Perhaps in the next
version there will be something more; but that would also require Apple
to be open to letting Mic ...

I need an extended color palette

The forty (40) colors of the Font Color palette aren't enough for me. I
would like to access an extended palette of colors, similar to the
"honeycomb" or "RGB" palettes available with Word. It would seem to me, that

I was trying to create a "to do" Checklist for tasks we do in our department
with time stamping.
We wanted create a list with check boxes and when the user marks the task as
completed by checking the box, OneNote would automatically add the date and
time stamp next to the item just like when you ...

Help quell my fears about losing my work...

This program looks great, but I'm just freaked out about losing my work since
there's no 'Save' button.
Do you think it's reasonable for me to be afraid that I will lose my work
since there is no 'Save' button on OneNote? Or should I truly believe that it
saves my work in real time and that I don't need to ...

Personal preference, I guess. I think the Bluetooth ones are usually
pretty good. I actually use an Olympus Digital Recorder connected via
2.5mm audio cable to my computer's Mic jack myself.
