Preview Pane for OneNote 2007

Is there a way to use a Preview Pane in OneNote 2007 (similar to what is
available for attachments in Outlook 2007)? When I insert a PDF (for
example) in OneNote, is there some way that I can view the file without
having to either open it, or Insert it as a Printout? ...

Default Printer

My new notebook with Vista Home Premium has Office 2007 that includes
onenote. The default printer is set to "Sent to Onenote". If I change this
in the control panel and make my HP inkjet the default printer it will only
work that way until the machine is rebooted then the default printer is
Onenote again. H ...

Inserting File as a Printout

I've been able to import adobe files to OneNote by means of hitting 'print'
and following the drop down menu to 'Send to OneNote 2007'. However, this
past week that option suddenly disappeared, and I can't seem to get OneNote
back on that 'print' list. Even if I go through 'Insert' > 'File as a
Printout' it' ...

New hard drive - user states almost all data missing

We have been replacing hard drives on laptops. I have a Onenote user
who told me today most of her Onenote files were missing. Since all
laptop data is stored on servers, I told her that any data should still
be in the folders it was in originally. Files that she specifically

Pasting ON table into Excel: Not possible?

A couple of searches in the Help files for both Excel and OneNote -- and
several searches herein this forum turn up no guidance on how to paste a
OneNote table into Excel. I was sure I'd seen Ben Shorr and Rainald T. write
here about working with info in tables in OneNote that would have to go "out
to Excel" ...

I've spent the better part of an evening going back and forth trying to
install the add-on, which Mozilla will not download, in spite of the
about:config hacks. By now I would think that this would have been figured
out, since millions of people have upgraded to Firefox 3.

OneNote disappeard from Vista Search locations

After performing a System Restore or Complete Backup Restore the search index
in Vista Search (4.0) does not contain Outlook or OneNote as "Included
Location" in the "Indexing Options".
Outlook shows up after the first time it gets started. Unfortunatly this is

numbering and excel

hi all
am new to onenote and need some help on two issues please.
when I do screen clippings of items I can manually add numbering to them
by selecting the â??numbering buttonâ? on the toolbar.
I wish to do this automatically when I do a screen clipping of several items
for example 1 and 2 and so on ...
