That is usually a function of your Windows settings.
Kind of a long shot, but try this:
Start Button/Settings/Control Panel, then "Regional & Languag Options", then
the "Language Settings" Tab, "Details" button in the "Text Services..."

unwanted french characters instead of punctuation marks

Whenever I type in punctuation marks like ' " ? in Onenote, instead of the
punctuation marks, I get accented french characters. It doesn't appear to be
a problem in other word applications (or even here, in this forum)
How do I fix this? I've tried resetting the language in OneNote and the
Keyboard, but ...

After I took notes I want to edit my notes. For instance, I replace text
(escpecially some handwriting with tablet) and delete the original part.

how does one copy whole One Note notebook to another

I want to transfer the entire contents of one One Note notebook to another
computer. Then I want to sinc them so changes in one happen to the other. How
does one do that. Both computers have XP and both have Windows One Note 2007.

As all new tablets now arrive with widescreens it is even more important that
the next ON-version makes it possible to cusomize so that most of the
toolbars can be placed on top or bottom, as the spacewidt is important to
keep for the handwriting.

Dissappearing "Tasks" buttons in ON 2007

Has anyone seen an issue with the OneNote 2007 "Tasks" buttons in the
Standard Toolbar ghosting out after a period of time? I have had this happen
three times and the buttons still appear, but are ghosted and cannot be
deleted, or activated.
I can forward a screen clipping of the toolbar, but, ultimately, ...
