appending files with extensions?

When I includes/appends a file onto a OneNote page the filename is shown
without file extension (the same stupidity that is the default in
WinXP).
Can one change that to display the entire filename including the
extension?

Templates (again)

I want to create a new template with a picture as the background but the only
way I can get the graphic to fill the page is by setting margins to zero -
BUT that means my titles etc. are on the edge.
Is there any way to get the picture to the edges without setting the margins? ...

ON files ruined by offline files

I've got a bunch of ON SP1 files on my file server.
Typically I use Offline Files to sync stuff onto my laptop. Until SP1 came
along, this seemed to work even if syncing the ON files (which I now know

I for ine hate the new ribbon. The space hog thing is a MAJOR issue with me.
While all the little icons can take up half the screen if they are all open,
I am able to work quite efficently with only one row open at a time. Now,
with the ribbon, I am forced to have 3 to 4 rows open at oncewhich is a major

when OneNote exits. Where is the best place to put this in the add-in class,
so that the cleanup is completed before the add-in is disposed or the dllhost
terminates?
