Emailing from Onenote 2007 uses a different Sender Name
Tue, 9 Dec 2008 07:19:03 -0800
Hi,
It appears that Onenote uses the product registration name as the "From"
when you send emails within the product. Outlook 2007 uses the "Name" field
associated with the email account.
How can I change my name within Onenote 2007 ? Shouldn't it be a option
somewhere or use my Outlook name? ...

I am now trying to reopen that .onepkg and I am getting an error that says
that I am using an incorrect version of the software and asks me to try to
repair.
It then fails on the repair.
What am I doing wrong? This is extremely inmportant data dn loo ...

"The key is incorrect."??

I just purchased a new HP laptop (not a refurb!) and it came with a
OneNote license.
However, when I run OneNote, the activation dialog that pops up is for
"Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007".
When I type in the license from my auth certificate, which reads "HP

Re: Shared Notebooks in OneNote 07 (Taking a notebook on the road)

Rainard has it exactly right - we use OneNote in exactly the way you
propose and Rainard explains. Our users have Tablet PCs and our OneNote
files are stored on a Windows server at the office. We share them from
there; the files are sync'd anytime the user connects to the server at
the office - whether the ...

Invisible Drawing Items

Firstly, I love Onenote. It's brilliant.
It has me tearing out my hair today though!
Hopefully I am not just doing something really stupid but I have a rather
annoying problem, I have searched around on the web but I cannot find
information relating to a similar problem.
All of my little sketches made ...

Multiple "Font Color" buttons
Mon, 8 Dec 2008 04:16:06 -0800
It would be good to have multiple "Font Color" buttons on the toolbar and be
able to choose a different colour in each one. The same would apply to the
highlight buttons. Currently if I'm going through a note highlighting or
colouring text based on some criteria, I cannot quickly shift between a set
of colou ...

Can I assign multiple backups to different disks?
Sun, 7 Dec 2008 21:41:00 -0800
It seems that if more than one backup copy is specified, they are all saved
at the same destination disk location. I'd like to be able to continue saving
one of my multiple backups in the traditional (default) hard drive location,
but since I have mission critical data, I'd also like the flexibility to
secur ...
