Copy Front End Dbase to Local Workstation

I have a batch file that:
1 - Checks for the existence of a defined folder on the local workstation
2 - Creates the folder of required
3 - Copies the front end database from a shared folder on the network
4 - Opens the front end database on the local workstation
My problem/question is:

we have an Access XP runtime application that doesn't install on
Windows Server 2008 x64.
The error is "The Office System Pack cannot be installed on this
system because it requires Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 or later."

The Acces aplication I run uses 2 OCX files: MSCAL.OX and MSCOMCT2.OCX
On my previous XP system I needed to register these files through Active
X-stuff
Now I have a Windows 7 sytem
I tried to register these files but got a messagebox saying I need a
seperate installation program....
Now what?

Hi, I set up the outlook and it works fine. While if I log in the account of
my institute email, there is nothing in there. I am wondering how to change
the settings so that I can also check email by logging in the account. it is
important to check emails using some other computers too. This is a naive

Current Database Filter Lookup Options

Does the number Limit specified in the Current Database "Filter Lookup
Options" have any affect on performance? The default appears to be 1,000 but
I would like to set it to 5K or 10K. Is there a downside to doing so?
