Front End database
Thu, 8 May 2008 08:41:05 -0700
We've always split our database but left both the front end and back end on
the server. I'm reading a lot about always putting a copy of the front end
on each users PC. Why is that? If I leave it on the server then I only have
to make one change to any of my objects for all to use. Plus, what about

Users in Access 2007
Wed, 7 May 2008 22:47:55 -0500
I understand that Access 2007 no longer supports user level security and
that converting an earlier version of access with this secruity will remove
the user level security.
I have been working with the Northwind 2007 sample database which is in the
new Access 2007 database format. When I open the database ...

Re: User Level Security on Server
Wed, 7 May 2008 06:58:02 -0700
I just started reading about security and even though it's overwhelming I
want to try it out. What is the advantage of putting a copy of the fe on
every workstation? Why wouldn't everyone use the fe on the server? Thanks
in advance.
