Access 2007 add sqlserver

We only have 1 computer that can't get this to work on. Just upgraded to
Office 2007. Go to add sqlserver to connect to a database and we get server
error 18456. When I look at the dll versions under the odbcad32.exe hers is
older than the computers it works on - I need to find out how to update it to
3.52 ...

how to globally set trusted locations

I have added a new location, which is on our network, checked the 'allow
trusted locations on network' box. This works fine doing it for each user, is
there any way I can set this globally?

Security on individual records

people could modify a database, but only certain records they had access to
