Locked out of my database

Is there a way to open in Exclusive mode, and if there are other users in at
that time, kick them out and proceed to open in exclusive mode.

a new table. The first individual user of this group also has no permissions

Problem with DB file (acces 2003). Appears as " read only "

Hi,
I have an app that it works with Access 2003. But in Ms Vista, the DB files
appears as "read only". I unchecked the option "read only" (Properties) but
it continues displaying the message "This DB is read only".
Only ocurres in Vista.

Do I need to close a recordset clone like a table recordset?

If I do the following:
Dim rst As DAO.Recordset
Set rst = Me.RecordsetClone
and then do some stuff with rst, do I need to (or should I) close it when
I'm done like I would any recordset?
