Securing a database

I have developed a database and want to provide it to other companies to use.
I do NOT want anyone to have access to make changes to the forms, reports,
queries, etc. I simply want them to be able to run the program. They will
need to be able to enter custsomer data (which enters into the customer

Hi,
We are using Windows Server 2003 OS and Visual Studio 2005. When user trying
drag and drop .dll files in c:\windows\assembly folder we gets
"Assembly cache viewer- install failed"
Access is Denied: 'FileName.dll'.

3029 error when creating new blank database

I attempted to adapt someones Access ap for Access 2007 which incorporates
user security and somehow it imposed user security on all Access aps on my
computer. I have deleted his Security.mdw file and still, when I attempt to
open ANY access file (even a blank one) I get a Logon screen asking for user
name ...

i am trying to add a trusted location. i browse to:
\\Nasbackup\urbncom\fpweb\Query DBs , check subfolders also trusted. then i
get error: "The remote or network path you have entered is not allowed by
your current security settings."
How do i adjust security seetings to allow this folder?

Access 2007 add sqlserver

We only have 1 computer that can't get this to work on. Just upgraded to
Office 2007. Go to add sqlserver to connect to a database and we get server
error 18456. When I look at the dll versions under the odbcad32.exe hers is
older than the computers it works on - I need to find out how to update it to
3.52 ...

how to globally set trusted locations

I have added a new location, which is on our network, checked the 'allow
trusted locations on network' box. This works fine doing it for each user, is
there any way I can set this globally?

Security on individual records

Is is possible to set security on an individual record so that different
people could modify a database, but only certain records they had access to
(no pun intended! :) )?
