Access, MyOdbc - field selection

I am working with an application, Access 2000 front-end, MyODBC, and
MySql back-end. The client has asked me to move the MySql db from a
Linux server to their new MS server. I have successfully moved it, set
up a new ODBC connection, and the application is able to read the
data. Just one small problem ...

Passing a null value to sql server via pass through query?

I've not been able to find out how to pass a null value to a stored proc
via a pass through query. If I'm executing the sproc in the sql server
tooling, I can use Null as the placeholder for a null value. But nothing

Hi,
At startup of a database, I would like to first check if the needed
ODBC driver is installed on the machine, and if it is, also check
whether the needed DSN is configured.
The point is to give a helpful error message, adapted to the
situation. Like:

A couple weeks back I posted a problem with selects from combo boxes
causing additional logons with SQL Sever backend. (And thanks to those
who responded.) However, upon further research we discvered it's actually
subforms causing the problem. We're using windows authentication and the
