Microsoft Access Error accessing file. network connection May have been lost

I created a database and it was working well untill recently. I tried
to use a button and it began to give the error message "Error accessing
file. network connection May have been lost ". Now, more buttons are
dysfunctional. I don't know what is wrong and if it can be fixed. I
need some help fast!

front end on their machines, all linked to the same back end. When a
new version of the front end is distributed to each user, because of
