a department of users that state that they need office 2003 because access
2000 'could not handle all of the data being input'. I am aware of access

terminal services sharing user login
Thu, 09 Mar 2006 15:24:53 GMT
How can I set up an Access FE on terminal services to allow multiple users to
access without any disruptions to other users when the FE database is
compacted on close. Is this possible or do I have to remove the compact on
close statement?
Thanks,
Karen

We plan to split our ACCESS application into front end and back end so we can
have a more reliable multi-user setup. Currently , we just have the unsplit
application in the server so they can share it.
We also have a copy of the same application for stand alone use of our data
analyst which we update once ...

Have an Access db on Network drive being opened by other application.
Problem: only one user can open at a time. Have set to shared mode and
each user is able to create the ldb file on the network drive, but still get
message saying can't open because already open by other user.

Wed, 08 Mar 2006 01:39:53 GMT
I have a database with both the front end and the back end on the network.

highlighted - so that if she is
