How do I place an icon each user's desktop for the database?

After setting security & splitting the database, I need to place an icon on
each user's desktop so they may just click & view the database.
How do I do this?

dear sir,
i am working as a system administrator, we are using windows 2000
server DC 180 nods . this is the institute. wen our students is using
mapped drive at a time then network will be very slow..
the students is using mapped driver... our mapped drive is Z:/
drive.........
if anybody have got this pr ...

Remote Synchronization

I have a standard multi-user Access database with a backend, a design master
and a master replica. Each user makes a replica of the master replica and

Access 97 Disk Network error

For the past 9 years we have had a database (split) .Server 2000. Two
buildings (One server) T1 line connecting the two. The building
farthest away has now started giving disk or network errors.
The network administrator says it is the database. I disagree.
Also it used to be multiple users at the far away bui ...
