Hi All,
I'm doing IT for a small office using Microsoft Access and a
distributied database.
A winXP fileserver is storing the BE of the database on a mirror raid
system and 4 client computers access the data via a small fixed IP

Application won't open

I split my database and on my front end, which is located on everyones c
drive, I have a form with an application that when you click the button it
opens an excel spreadsheet.
It works on all of the computers in the network except one.
I cannot find the problem - using Access 97.
Any Ideas?

front ends can obviously save information into a common BE but each FE needs
to know that there's information waiting for it. So I need a way to trigger

Some users have been upgraded to windows xp/ avccess 2003. The db
started crahing hard; 5 times last week. We had to step through all the
error messages for each table and copy and paste the data into the
backup.We banned 2003 users until everyone is upgaded. It seems to have
