Slow performance after database move

After moving a backend access 2003 database from a linux server in a
local office, to a Windows file cluster on a WAN with a 100Mb
connection the performance of the split access database now takes 15
seconds to open a form with an individual record.

Error 3218 - multi user record locking issue using transactions

I have been bopping around the 'net for awhile
looking for answers to this.
I have a multi-user 100% Access database app w/ linked tables in a backend.
Once a month a bunch of users enter lots of data simultaneously.
The operation involves 3-4 tables.

Record Locking MsgBox

I'm going to use Pessimistic Record locking on my Multi-User database. My
question is where can I place my custom MsgBox to pop up when a user tries
to access a record that is already open. I' m using all unbound forms.
