I have a database that was created in Access 2000. I would like to
distribute this as a split database application, but am unsure of how to do
it. I haven't found much information, with the exception of this:

I have an Access 2002 database on a network server that allows multiple

I have built an Access database that is located on a network drive at
my company. The database is accessed by as many as 7 people at any
given point in time (although there is never really more than 2 or 3 on
it at the same time).
It has been in use for 2 months now with absolutely no problems.

Can't Open mdb

When anyone else is using an mdb file, I can't open it at all even to
just browse a table. All our computers have Access set for no

Each user with the codes or with a shortcut of the codes?
Thu, 1 Jun 2006 21:28:27 -0400
Our database is split : iftm and iftm_princip. The data (iftm_princip) are
in the server and each user has the codes (iftm).
I am thinking to put the codes (iftm) too in the server and make a shortcut
of the codes (iftm) in each user.
What would be the best?
Thank you.
